Who Can Enter?
Anyone in the UK/NI over the age of 18, with a registered account! Registration is simple, you can do it at the checkout when you buy your first ticket(s) or beforehand in the My Account Page
How do I Enter?
Select from one of our competitions that stands out to you, purchase your ticket(s) then await our live draw on the CompCity Giveaways Facebook page, our twitch or Youtube, where we will reveal if you are one of our lucky winners! Are Payments Secure?
We use a secure and encrypted payment service hosted by DNA Payments, the same payment handler that you’ll use if you ever stop at an Instavolt EV Charger. We do not store your card details on our server, we never see these details and when you pay all of your details are handled via DNA Payments, not via our website. What Are My Chances Of Winning?
Each competition has a set number of tickets available. Your odds of winning depend on how many tickets you’ve bought compared to the total number sold. For example if there is 1 prize with 100 total tickets and you buy 1, you have a 1 in 100 chance.
How Many Tickets Are There? How Many Have Sold? And How Many Can I Buy?
The maximum number of tickets is always clearly shown on each competition, you can always see how many have sold too, and the maximum that any person can buy is refered to as “pp”, so you may see “250 pp max” for example under the tickets sold bar. This is a fixed amount and wont change during the competition.
What Happens If A Competition Doesn't Sell Out?
We have guaranteed every single draw since day one and that will never change. All prizes are drawn regardless of ticket sales, we’ll never force you to take a cash alternative, never force you to take a percentage of ticket sales or any other dodgy tactic employed by alot of other competition sites!
All draws go ahead, the prizes dont change if we dont sell enough tickets. Listing the prizes has always been our risk, and its your risk as a player to enter to win, you may win big, you may win small, or you may not win at all. Undersold Competitions just mean you get better odds, its as simple as that.
How Do I Know When a Competition Ends?
All competitions will end on the closing date which is shown on each competition, or once all the tickets are sold if this happens first. No draw extensions, ever, No rollovers, All Draws are always guaranteed, that’s our promise!
Competitions that sell out earlier on a weekend, or Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday will be added to the following live draw day.
Competitions that are scheduled to end on a non draw day, end at midnight and are added to the following draw (we dont do these ones often).
Where And When Are The Live Draws?
We are live at 9pm Mondays and Thursdays if you wish to join in the fun, you can sometimes win stuff for free by watching us live at 9pm on those days too where we may throw in a freebie for the watchers. When we do our Live Draws, we stream direct to Facebook, Twitch and Youtube simultaneously.

On a Monday Competitions Close at 8pm with a 9pm live draw and on a Thursday the same times apply.
Do I Need to Watch The Draw To Win?
This is regularly asked, but as the “How to Play” on the homepage shows, you do not need to watch a live draw to win! If you have a ticket into any of our draws you’re entered regardless of if you’re watching the live draw or not. We contact all Winners the morning after a draw.
So What Happens If I Win?
We call all of the top prize winners live and then email all other winners post live draw (the next morning). Not checking your emails regularly? Never worry, if you win a live draw prize or an Instant Win and dont respond to the first email, one of us will chase you up! Instant Winners will be notified straight away on the “thank you for your order” page and via email! If you win an Instant Win, follow the instructions to claim on the email titled “You’ve won an Instant Win on CompCity Giveaways!”
If you win a live draw prize, you’ll receive a claim form on the following day.
Note: to view who’s won the Instant Wins, you’ll need to view the specific competition Instant Win table. This is kept upto date in real time, so if you win an Instant Win, your name appears there instantly!

Can I Take A Cash Alternative?
We make all of our cash alternatives very clear on each competition, in the description and near the “Enter Now” button. They are also clear on each Instant Win. Cash Alternatives are offered on 95% of our prizes.
How Do You Deliver The Prizes?
If you’ve won a Custom Gaming PC from us (One of those fancy ones we run as main prizes) or a Large Tech Bundle then chances are we’ll hand deliver it if possible (within afew hours drive of Newport, South Wales) or use a trusted Courier.
We regularly use Parcelforce’s 24 hour service for alot of prizes and for these you’ll receive your tracking number via SMS on the morning of Delivery from Parcelforce & from us on a Wednesday Evening.
Instant Win PC’s are shipped Via DPD from our trusted Supplier, TV’s, Monitors & More we tend to send directly to you from the likes of Currys Business, Amazon Business etc.
If you win an E-Bike or similiar, we’ll send it from one of the many fantastic online bike shops straight to you. If you win a vehicle (We have done vehicles in the past) then you can either collect it or we’ll deliver it to you.
Chris deals with the majority of prize ordering and shipping on a Wednesday, so if you win on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday for example via Instant Wins, or on a Monday Night Live Draw and want the physical prize instead of a cash alternative, thats when you’ll hear from Chris on the Wednesday.
How Do I Get My Ticket Numbers?
All ticket numbers are randomly generated and allocated with your order, you will be shown your ticket numbers on the “Order Received” page straight after payment, this information is repeated on the order email (check spam as it sometimes ends up in there) or the Tickets Tab in your account.
How Do The Live Draws Work?
Each competition entry receives a random ticket number. On draw day, for complete fairness and transparency, we go Live via Facebook, Twitch and Youtube and we use Google’s random number generator to as its name-sake suggests; select a lucky entrant at random. For example: If a competition has 250 total tickets, the number generator randomly selects a number between 1 and 250 – The number selected could be yours! This is a 100% random selection and we have absolutely zero control over who wins these fantastic prizes.
Do You Publish Your Entry Lists?
Of course, all live draw competitions have entry lists! We’ve done this since day one and firmly believe all competition websites should too!

How Do Instant Wins Work?
If you are lucky enough to get an instant win number on an instant win competition then you win that prize instantly and will be notified on the “Order Received” page after payment and via email, plus your name appears on the instant win prize list immediately. If you win an Instant Win, follow the instructions to claim on the email titled “You’ve won an Instant Win on CompCity Giveaways!”. If you fail to realise you have won, dont worry we always chase you up.
Please note, your Instant Win Confirmation email always gets sent to the email that you registered with, even if you put a different email in the billing details at checkout. So if you registered with your hotmail account but used your gmail at checkout for your receipt and win an Instant Win, you’ll get your Instant Win Confirmation to your Hotmail & your order receipt (order confirmation) to your gmail.
How do Autodraws Work?
Our system uses a secure pseudo-random number generator with system seeding at draw time, to randomly select a winning ticket from all entries, It’s like picking a number from a hat. This ensures that every entrant has an equal chance of winning, and there’s no human involvement in the selection process. The winner will get their email straight away and we’ll update the draw results page shortly after!
Why Do I Need To Use My Full Legal Name?
We require ID for all winners. We have to be able to verify all winners legal full names before paying out or sending out any prizes. We need to comply with age restriction laws and make sure you’re over 18 years old. We also need to verify the person who won the prize is the person going to receive it.
I’ve Got A Ticket Number Higher Than The Total Number Sold, Am I Still Included?
Absolutely, We will always enter the minimum and maximum numbers into the generator for each competition. If we land on a number not sold/not on the spreadsheet we simply roll again. So you are very much included.

What Happens To Instant Wins That Aren't Won?
Any Instant Wins that dont get won do not get distributed in the live draws as “extra’s” or “Freebies”. We get asked this alot, but as with all Competition Sites, any instant wins that aren’t won within the timeframe of the competition simply aren’t won.

Can I Cancel or Refund My Order?
Ticket purchases are final and cannot be refunded, if you are having problems controlling your spending, please use our account restriction tool in our responsible play section
If I Want To Close My Account, Is It Easy?
You can simply message us on socials (Facebook and Instagram) or email [email protected]. Once we receive your request, as per UK GDPR, your account will be closed within one calendar month, though usually much sooner.
